English at university

I think is very important that people learn English, beacuse this languaje is one of the most used in all the world, for this reason is called the universal languaje. So if people travel to a country in Europe for example, even though you don`t know the language of this country you could communicate talking English.

This year the University began with the english class for us, in this class I learn much more than in the school. This can be because these are more funny and didactic. In the school I had sit down and heard my teacher 2 hours talk about grammar, so I used to sleep hahaha or I made any other thing, because it was very boring. But also I have to say that learn the basic for can read a text for example.

One thing that help a lot for my training in English is the use of the blog, because in these blogs you write about different topics, so you must search for the vocabulary, think in the rules of grammar and in this self-learning you can see your failures and improve little by little.

My English is not very good yet, the most important thing that I have to improve is when I need talk with someone else, because I confuse words and I forgot them, also I have to improve the grammar, because is very different than the Spanish. I think that I can improve these things making exercise in internet, seeing movies, making videos, in general I have to connect with the languaje. Although the best way is travel and learn the language with English people.

Outside the english class I used english when I see movies or when I listen English music, also when I have to read papers for the university.

2014

Although this year not finalized yet, I think this has been really good for me. Because I began a new stage in my live, for example  I always lived in a small city in the south with my parents, and now I live only with my brother in Santiago. Now I have resolve my problems for myself and I think this things have helped me to mature.

This year also I got into University, in this I have learned to study, and this has been the most difficult for me, because I have a terrible concentration and I don`t like study. For this reason I have had bad moments this year, but I have learned to keep positive thoughs. 

But how I said before my year has been very good, because I have known very good people, who now are my friends and I`m very happy with my life, I only have to up my grades hahaha.

This year I return to play basketball in the faculty, and I enjoying much this. With the team we want win the local tournament of the "Universidad de Chile) and win the Enadeo too, Enadeo is a tournament, that will be played in Viña, at the ends of this month. This is one of the things, that I wish for this year. And I think i will do. 

Finally I want that my life still as good as nowadays, and I will exert myself to can do this. And I expect may be the life can give me a surprise, to make it even better. 

Twitter

The last Wednesday I was sick, so I can´t attend to the English class and I can´t chose a topic in the raffle. So today I'll talk about a topic chosen by me. This topic is "Twitter".
I´ll talk about this, because nowadays is one of the most used social networks in the world, with facebook and whatsapp.
Twitter is a social network, in which you write about everything you want, for example about your feelings, politic, things that happens in your daily life, between others. You can publish this, and this called a "tweet". Your followers, (the folllowers are like your friends in facebook or people who are interested in the things that you publish) can see this and express their opinion, Also if they are in agreement with your tweet, they can retweet this, for their followers can see your tweet too, and in this way more people will know you and then maybe these people can follows you.
In twitter you can see the tweets of your friends, but you can also follow famous artists, football players and news channels, the last point is really useful because you can be informed what happens in your country and in the world, everytime you want and see only the news that you are interested in.
The only thing I don´t like about twitter is that the people becomes addict and are the 24 hours with their telephone in their hands writing and writing.

Technology and human body

Today I´ll talk about a news that I read, the news talk about a man called Wladimir Silva, who is 22 years old. He was born with the Poland syndrome, so he doesn´t had some fingers in his right hand and he had muscular problems in the upper right zone of his body  . From EE.UU Jorge Zuñiga, a physiologist, donnate to Teletón five prototypes of a right hand made with a three dimentional printer, and Wladimir was selected to get one of these. These hands cost only 25 dollars each one and now in Teletón are waiting for the results and the functioning, to improvement the possible failures.
This is interesting for me because with new technology, the scientists are helping people, who really needs it. Also if this hand had a good operation, will be a great advance, beacuse it´s very cheap. A lot of other persons could be help by this product, and maybe not only in their hands, the scientist could also create prototypes for another parts of the human body.
I think this is a  really good initiative to improve the peoples disabilities, and in this way they can do all the things that they want, but I think too that is inappropiated probe this new creations in the people, without being sure if it really does work.

My future job

Today I will write about my future job, and is a  little weird because I don`t know what I`ll do in some years . But nowadays I would like to have a job in relation with the dentistry, because I`m study this career. I imagine myself in a consultation, helping people with their problems and injurys, for improve their lives and their appearance. Two weeks ago I went to a dentist consultation and I was there two hours seeing patients and when I saw this, I liked more the work of a dentist.

I`ll begin being a general dentist and when I had a lot of practice, I wish to make a major. I don`t know yet which, because I have to learn about each one in a few years, but there is one that currently I prefered over the others, this is the maxillofacial surgery. 

A dream that I have is to be able to help people extremely poor, for example the African`s people, I would like go to a place like that, and help all people that I can. I say that because I know a doctor, who every year go to places of extremely poverty with his medical team and resolve the people`s health problems , and he told me that`s very gratifying see the gratitude and the smiles of this peolple. 

My first holidays

Today I`ll talk about my first holidays, that I remember, of course. When I was 7 years old in 2001,  I went with my family, my brother Erich, my mother, my father and my grand mother, to Viña del Mar. I was very excited because I was from Punta Arenas, and this was de first time that I`ll fly in a plane. 

After four long hours in the plane we arrived in Santiago and we take a bus to Viña, with my brother (we have the same age) can`t believe the heat that was. We stayed in a flat of my uncle, who lives in Punta Arenas too, for three weeks. We did a lot of funny things, we always wanted go to the beach, my mom said that we could go as long as an adult went with us, because we could have an accident, but we had our grandmother who always acompanied us. Also we loved go to a park, (I can`t remember the name), in which was a water slide, and we were all day in this game. If I could be a child again, I would go to this park with my brother entire days. 

These were one of the best holidays for me, because like I said before, they was the first and I enjoyed a lot with my family and above all with my brother. 

Cartoons and childhood

When I was a child I saw cartoons every day and I liked them very much, I could stay all day watching TV. Now with 20 years I don`t watch much TV , but everytime I find one of these cartoons I see them, because they bring me a lot of good memories of my childhood.
My favorite cartoon in my childhood was  the first generation of pokemon, the main characters was Ash and pikachu, the last one was the pokemon of Ash, something like a pet with special powers, who could fight with another pokemons. They with their friends wents to some places in an  imaginary world, searching for battles and pokemon tournaments. I liked this cartoon, because always after an episode I was caught by the history, also I liked how looks the pokemons, with a lot of different colors and creative forms and powers. In fact I had the pokemon`s book, in which there are the 150 pokemons of the first generation, and I knew everybody.
There are many people who think the cartoons are only for children, but I think that`s not true, because  some adults can enjoy these, and remember beautiful things about the infancy. Also there are cartoons with messages about life, that kids can`t understand.
